Artist’s Statement
Teri Blond
My love of found objects began at a very young age. The only materials available came off my family’s construction site and were blended with my street finds. I always had a pocket full of colorful recyclables to use in my art. This started my passion for object reuse, and a lifelong experimentation of combining many dissimilar materials. I draw with objects, and my mind is open to the possibility of combining and using taboo materials to create alluring objects of wearable art.
